For endowing the Classical Art Curatorial Internship.

The Classical Art Curatorial Internship will provide a stipend for a three-month internship for graduate students or recent graduates from Greece and abroad who have an  interest in Classical or Byzantine Art and who intend to pursue careers in art museums.  The interns will gain experience in object handling, documentation on an international database, installations, conservation, recording and archiving, and presentations to the public.

The Museum of Fine Arts, opened in 1876, is one of the greatest encyclopedic museums in the world and attracts one million visitors annually.  Its collections are among the most comprehensive in the western hemisphere.  The Department of Greek and Roman antiquities is considered to be one of the two best collections of Classical art in the United States.
