Museum of Cycladic Art - Nicholas P. Goulandris Foundation

Exhibition
For an art exhibition and a catalogue in celebration of the Museum’s twentieth anniversary. The exhibition displayed a large number of exhibits from other renowned foreign Museums such as the Pompidou, the Louvre, the Rodin Museum, the Cypriot Museum of Lefkosia, and foundations (Giacometti Foundation in Rome, etc.).

It brought together for the first time pieces from the civilizations of the Bronze Age (Cycladic, Egyptian, etc.) and the Early Iron Age (Greek and Cypriot) and compared them to famous art personalities of the twentieth century such as Picasso, Brancusi, Giacometti, Moore and others whose art creations appear to have been directly or indirectly influenced and inspired by the earlier civilizations.

The Museum of Cycladic Art was founded in 1986 and is devoted to the study and promotion of ancient Greek art.
