MuCEM – Musée des civilisations de l’Europe & de la Méditerranée


The grant supports the temporary exhibition “Divine migrations” exploring ancient polytheisms in the Mediterranean. It will highlight the Greek, Roman and Egyptian pantheons in their practices or their representations. More than 220 archaeological artefacts emphasizing the following topics: Pantheons / the Divine world; man looking for eternity; syncretism and fusion. Specific tailored visits and workshops will be organized for school classes and children. 

The MuCEM (Musée des civilisations de l’Europe & de la Méditerranée) is the first museum devoted to Mediterranean cultures and the first national museum outside of Paris.
