This grant supports the expansion of the Healthy Steps Program throughout Montefiore Medical Center’s network of community-based pediatric clinics in the Bronx; the Healthy Steps program embeds mental health services in the primary care setting, emphasizing a close relationship between healthcare professionals and parents, in order to improve young children’s behavior and development as well as the mental health of parents and caregivers.
