Lower Manhattan Cultural Council

Program support

For the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s LentSpace Park, which transformed an empty New York City block into a temporary exhibition, performance and community space.  The site is located where the SoHo, Tribeca and Chinatown neighborhoods meet.  LentSpace is an eco-conscious, innovative public space that brings artistic energy to an extremely densely populated neighborhood.

Since 1973, the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC) has been a leading arts presenter, advocate and service provider for downtown artists and arts organizations.  LMCC’s signature programs connect artists with free temporary space in which to create and present work in downtown Manhattan.
