Le Petit Monde

For four child-friendly MRI mock scanners / MRI games to be used in pediatric health services in France. This MRI game is an MRI simulator used to prepare children for the real MRI scanner, in order to avoid nearly 90% of general anesthesia often required for children under 5 years old. The principle is to inspire children to discover this MRI game, to establish a game atmosphere and to familiarize them with three constraints: noise, lying on their back and immobility in a confined space.

The association Le Petit Monde was created in 1997 by the heads of the pediatric departments of hospitals in Lyon to improve the quality of life of hospitalized children.
