Kulturarchiv Oberengadin

This grant supports the publication of a book of photographs of the Engadine Alps by the nineteenth-century photographer, writer, and mountain climber Elizabeth Main; the photographs are not only vital to the cultural heritage of the Engadine, but are also important historical documents and allow scientists to reconstruct how climate and tourism have changed the landscape over the decades.
