Koç University - Stavros Niarchos Foundation Center For Late Antique and Byzantine Studies

This grant supports the creation of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Center for Late Antique and Byzantine Studies at Koç University and its operation between 2015 and 2022. The center's main objectives are to engage in national and international projects on Byzantine history, art, and archaeology; to provide doctoral and post-doctoral scholarships in relevant disciplines; to organize conferences, symposia, and workshops; to publish scholarly papers and books; and to contribute to the protection and promotion of Byzantium’s cultural assets.
