Kaufman Center

Program support
For the Fund for Music Education, which helps underwrite the Center’s music education programs for children.

Through the Fund for Music Education, the Kaufman Center provides skills-based music education to school-aged children who would otherwise not have access to such an opportunity.  The children are trained in musicianship, musical theory, an instrument, and/or development of their vocal abilities.

The Kaufman Center, founded in 1952, is a multi-arts center that has provided music education for children and adults for more than 50 years.  Each year the Center serves approximately 70,000 people— from children in pre-school to people who are retired.  Its education programs often serve children from low income communities.
