The grant supports the restoration of the Parkway Theatre.
Founded in 1876, the Johns Hopkins University’s mission is “Knowledge for the world”. The University is a world leader in both teaching and research. The Johns Hopkins University is the fiscal sponsor for the Parkway Film Center Coalition. The Parkway Film Center Coalition, comprised of Johns Hopkins University, the Maryland Institute College of Art and the Maryland Film Festival, was formed to transform the century-old Parkway Theater in Baltimore into a distinctive, world-class center for the arts and film education.
