Johns Hopkins University

Program support

The grant supports the Berman Institute of Bioethics Global Food Policy and Ethics Program, in collaboration with the School for Advanced International Studies and the Bloomberg School of Public Health. The project brings together experts from different fields of food production, and often conflicting ideologies, to find common ground solutions to ethically feeding the world.

Established in 1995, the Berman Institute of Bioethics conducts advanced scholarship on the ethics of clinical practice, biomedical science, and public health, both locally and globally, and engages students, trainees, the public, and policy-makers in serious discourse about these issues.

Johns Hopkins University was founded in 1876 and is a world leader in teaching and research. The university has numerous academic divisions and campuses throughout the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. area.
