A part of the Foster Care Institution Support Program.

To support the replacement of door and window frames in the children’s rooms as well as, the replacement of the Center’s sanitary equipment.

The Ioannina Child Care Center for Girls was founded in 1922 under the name Girls’ Orphanage of Ioannina. It is a public institution, which comes under the jurisdiction of the 6th Regional Healthcare Administration of Epirus, the Ionian Islands, Western Greece and the Peloponnese. It is managed by a five member Board of Directors whose members are selected by the Minister of Health & Social Solidarity.

The Center’s mission is to provide care, education and training for unprotected children without a family. It currently accommodates 25 girls, ages 8-16 years old.
