To provide immediate support and humanitarian aid to the earthquake victims in Haiti.
Founded in 1933, the IRC is a global leader in emergency relief, rehabilitation, protection of human rights, post-conflict development, resettlement services and advocacy for those uprooted or affected by violent conflict and oppression. The International Rescue Committee responds to the world’s worst crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. The organization is currently working on the ground in 42 countries around the world.
