For the creation of the Home of Horseracing National Heritage Center, which will offer a world-class museum and an art gallery, as well as a study center and facilities for showcasing the work of the Retraining of Racehorses Charity. The internationally recognized Museum’s collection will tell the history of thoroughbred horseracing from its origins to the present in a new and innovative way, using the latest audiovisual technology. In addition, it will offer high art exhibits through the BSAT collection and the collections held by the Tate Gallery and other museums. 
 
The Home of Horseracing Trust was created as a charity in 2005, for the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical, natural and built environment of the town of Newmarket and its surrounding area. It is the umbrella Trust and Fundraiser for three partner organizations, namely the National Horseracing Museum, the British Sporting Art Trust (BSAT) and the Retraining of Racehorses Charity.
