Hellenic Wildlife Hospital EKPAZ

Renovations
For renovations and laboratory equipment.  The project included the construction of two small installations, one for training volunteers and one for an education/observation center.

Since 1984 EKPAZ has been involved in the rescue and treatment of wildlife from all areas of Greece. In many instances a deer or eagle will be transported to them from N. Greece for treatment and then released again into the wild. The organization is dedicated to preserving and monitoring species in danger of extinction. EKPAZ treats over 4,500 wild animals per year. Over 80% of the time the cause of the injuries is illegal hunting.
