For the creation of an online glossary for Neurosciences. The glossary is an online tool developed according to Wikipedia standards, where certified professionals will add their accumulated knowledge, and which will gradually be enriched and updated. This tool is expected to benefit all researchers, students, and practitioners in the field. Currently, no comprehensive glossary on Neuroscience medical terms exists in Greek.
The Hellenic Society for Neurosciences (HSFN) was founded in 1985 and is a member of the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies and the International Brain Research Organization. The HSFN aims at promoting education and research related to Neurosciences and informing and sensitizing the public regarding brain diseases and related research. It numbers approximately 350 members, mainly students, researchers, clinical doctors and psychologists employed in universities and hospitals across Greece.
