Harlem Children’s Zone, Inc.

This grant supports the operation and expansion of two early childhood programs: the Baby College, which provides hands-on training in parenting skills and other support to residents of Central Harlem who are expecting or raising a young child; and Harlem Gems/Head Start, a year-round pre-kindergarten program that aims to promote the intellectual, emotional, social, physical, aesthetic, linguistic, and motor competence of three- and four-year-old children.
