Greenpeace Greece

Program support

The grant supports the implementation of a two-year educational program on the cultivation of Greek fodder crops. Through this program, 50 Greek farmers will be trained in cultivating 2,500 acres of Greek fodder crops, such as beans, chickpeas, and lupine, which will then be used to feed livestock.

Greenpeace consists of Greenpeace International, based in Amsterdam, and 28 regional offices representing a total of 45 countries worldwide. Greenpeace Greece was founded in 1991 with the aim of highlighting the major environmental issues in Greece and promoting the implementation of the required measures.
