Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston

Infrastructure improvements
For a handicapped-accessible cabin that will accommodate young campers with special needs and for the elevator in the Retreat House at the St. Methodios Faith and Heritage Center in Contoocook, New Hampshire.
Both the elevator and the cabin will make the camp facilities more accessible and facilitate hosting programs for individuals with special needs.
The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston serves the Greek community in New England. It oversees the religious, administrative, and community-service activities of over 60 parishes in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.  Among the many programs hosted by the Metropolis are camp programs for children and adolescents, programs for children with special needs, marriage enrichment seminars, dance classes, catechetical school, and Byzantine chant and choir workshops.

Some of these programs take place at the St. Methodios Faith and Heritage Center.  The Faith and Heritage Center, a campground, is a 191-acre facility that includes a chapel, two lakes, a recreation center, a dining facility, cabins, and the soon-to-be-built Retreat House. Camp activities take place indoors and outdoors and include athletic and artistic endeavors, church services, and discussions.
