Grace Institute of New York

Program support
The grant supports updates to Grace Institute’s training curriculum.

In 1897, William R. Grace, an immigrant, shipping magnate, and two-time Mayor of New York City founded Grace Institute (GI) with the goal to provide women, especially immigrant women, in New York with the skills necessary to improve their lives and attain employment. Grace Institute offers a modern, employer-tailored curriculum, as well as counseling, placement services, and career advancement opportunities that lead to career ladder employment.
