For the support of two educational programs for primary school children, with an emphasis on the participation of schools in underprivileged areas, and for refurbishing the exhibition.
The Museum of Greek Folk Musical Instruments Phoebus Anoyanakis-Center for Ethnomusicology was established in 1991 and holds a collection of 1200 Greek folk musical instruments dating back to the 18th century. The Museum also provides courses of Greek folklore musical instruments and organises musical events, theatrical presentations and book or record presentations from March to October. All activities of the Museum are organised by the Friends of the Museum.
