This grant supports the construction of the Sparta Museum of Mosaics, to help preserve and display significant mosaics found in Sparta, notably a mosaic representation of the myth of the abduction of Europa, including the costs of all technical studies and construction, as well as overhead for the museum’s first year of operation.
