Fondation Hellenique

For renovating the reception area of the Fondation Hellénique building.

On the occasion of its 75th birthday in 2007, the Fondation Hellénique is renovating its reception area to recreate the original configuration and decoration of the room as imagined by the architect Nicolas Zahos when it was built in 1932. This work is part of a full renovation of this neoclassical building, which has been altered over time.

The Fondation Hellénique is part of the Cité Universitaire Internationale de Paris and welcomes students, mainly Greek, for their graduate studies. From its founding in 1933, the Foundation’s ambition has been to promote Greek culture. Open to the public, it offers a comprehensive cultural program year-round, including colloquiums, theater performances, literature evenings and expositions.
