European Cultural Center of Delphi

For the support of the 16th Symposium Aristotelicum at Delphi, which will take place in August 2014. The Symposium, an internationally acclaimed event, includes the participation of the most prominent specialists on the study of the philosophy of Aristotle. The Symposium will take place in Greece for the first time and will focus on Aristotle’s Physics, one of the basic texts of his philosophy.

The European Cultural center of Delphi was established in 1977. It falls under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and under the auspices of the European Council. The organization aims to showcase the common cultural elements of the European people, by organizing symposiums, conferences and international meetings, as well as through scientific research and the publication of studies on European culture. The organization also implements educational programs, such as seminars on Ancient Greek language and culture and debate competitions.
