European Association of Service Providers for Persons With Disabilities (EASPD)

Program support

The grant supports the ‘Disabilities Leaders of Tomorrow’ capacity building program that will create a set of 10 core training modules to be offered freely on a dedicated platform online, while implementing a series of knowledge transfer meetings, workshops, and webinars, coupled with a job shadowing experience for 15 mentees and mentors from 10 European counties, who will then engage in passing on the knowledge to professionals in their respective countries.

Founded in 1996, EASPD is an organization representing 129 social service providers in the disability sector (direct members) and their umbrella associations from 29 European countries. Its main objective is to promote equal opportunities for people with disabilities through effective and high quality service systems, based on the principles of the UN Convention of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
