This grant supports the expansion of the Etz-Hayyim educational outreach program.
The Etz-Hayyim not-for-profit corporation was established in 2010 as a charitable organization to operate the Etz-Hayyim Synagogue in Chania, which had been reconstructed in 1999. Its main goal is for the Synagogue to serve a place of prayer, recollection, and reconciliation for people of all religions.
