Eau Vive

Program support
To support a project to improve access to drinking water, and to improve hygiene and sanitation in villages facing severe water shortages, in the region of Mopti, Mali. The program includes the drilling of water wells, and the construction of family and school latrines. In each village, Water Point Management Committees will be established and trained on water maintenance. Hygiene and Sanitation Committees will also be created to raise awareness on best hygiene practices and their impact on public health.

Eau Vive is an organization of international solidarity focusing on water accessibility, which has supported projects in Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo for 30 years. It helps impoverished and marginalized villages reach their development goals by empowering local communities.
