The grant supports the funding of the restoration study of the ancient Roman Theatre of Nikopolis. The Roman Theatre of Nikopolis is one of the largest of its period (28 BC) with a capacity of 15,000 spectators. It is one of the five archaeological sites constituting the Cultural Itinerary in the Ancient Theatre of Epirus. 

Diazoma was founded in 2008 with the mission to protect and promote ancient monuments throughout Greece. Diazoma studies and develops projects, linking cultural elements to sustainable development and the real economy.
