Cultural Society of Sarakatsanaioi

For Greek-language books, a water system for the settlement "Isimis," the participation in the annual gathering of Sarakatsanaioi, and for hosting Greek children from Bulgaria at a summer camp. The Sarakatsanaioi were a nomadic and stock-breeding people. They moved continuously in search of new feeding grounds for their herds and lived in many Balkan countries. The Cultural Society of Sarakatsanaioi makes efforts to reach out to fellow Greeks who are still in foreign countries.
