For the two-year Malaria Cross Border Initiative in Zambia to reduce the incidence of malaria within the target areas of Sikongo and Kasungula, with an overall goal of helping the Zambian government to eliminate malaria by 2025. The project includes distributing and ensuring the correct and consistent use of 17,000 Long Lasting Insecticide Treated Nets, improving malaria prevention and treatment-seeking behaviors, and strengthening community-based testing and uptake of malaria drugs. In addition malaria information material is developed and distributed to the target population.

Christian Aid is a British-based international non-governmental organization working to end poverty and injustice in the developing world. Christian Aid has pursued its mission for more than 60 years and has been registered as a charity since 2004. They work where the need is greatest by using specialized local partners, regardless of race, religion or creed.
