Program support
For support to the project “From birth to 12 months: supporting new parents experiencing social hardship”. The project is aimed at supporting families with a newborn baby that are experiencing extreme economic and social hardship. The program includes family counseling and psychological support, support to access medical and social services, postpartum support for mothers, follow up of the baby’s development, pedagogical and social activities in groups to strengthen the parents’ capacities and break isolation, as well as material support for the whole family.

The Centro di Aiuto alla Vita Mangiagalli (CAVM) was created in 1984 within the maternity ward of Mangiagalli clinic in Milan to support mothers and couples who had difficulties facing the arrival of a baby. CAVM offers a comprehensive approach to support these families with multiple needs.
