For The Bronx Museum of the Arts’ education programs, which help Bronx schools meet essential arts education benchmarks and introduce young people to contemporary art.
Since 1971, the Bronx Museum of the Arts has served the culturally diverse populations of the Bronx and the greater New York area. The Museum exhibits, preserves and documents the work of artists not typically represented within traditional museum collections. It highlights work by artists of African, Asian and Latin American ancestry as well as artists for whom the Bronx has been critical to their development.
