British Heart Foundation

Program support

The grant supports the national initiative to create a “Nation of Lifesavers”. The objective of the project is to facilitate cascade training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation through schools and communities with the ambition to increase survival rates following outside-the-hospital cardiac arrest incidents.

The British Heart Foundation is a major funder of cardiovascular research in the UK supporting research projects into the causes, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of heart and circulatory disease. It also provides up to date information to the public and campaigns for prevention and for better services for heart patients.
