Autism Speaks

Program support
For the Dennis Weatherstone Pre-Doctoral Fellowship Program at Autism Speaks. The Program is designed to attract young, talented scientists into the field of autism research.  Fellowships will be awarded annually on a competitive basis to pre-doctoral candidates.

Each fellow will work under the supervision of leaders in the field of autism research and at Autism Speaks.  In addition to awarding the fellowships, Autism Speaks will convene an annual meeting for newly appointed Weatherstone Fellows and encourage the sharing of ideas among former and current Fellows.

Autism Speaks is dedicated to increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders, to funding research into the causes, prevention and treatments for autism, and to advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. Autism Speaks was founded in 2005 by the combination of three leading U.S. autism advocacy organizations.
