Athens School of Fine Arts

Program support

The grant supports the special re-edition of the New School Buildings, the most important interwar publication on modern Greek architecture. The publication makes part of “Bauhaus and Greece”, a program celebrating 100 years since Bauhaus founding, which also includes a 3-day international conference as well as concerts mirroring original avant-garde concerts in the first major Bauhaus exhibition in Weimar in 1923.

Founded in 1837, the Athens School of Fine Arts is the largest Greek public university institution of its kind, in which many renowned Greek artists have studied and/or served as professors.
