For a global project to prevent and care for abandoned children in Bamako, Mali. The project’s objectives are to prevent abandonment by supporting isolated young mothers who lack resources, to support the Nursery of Bamako in caring for various children’s groups, to reinforce human resources and management capacity by training staff members, and lastly to study alternative solutions for child placement in Mali.

Association Santé Sud is a French non-governmental organization created by health professionals in 1984.  The Association works to support health resources for the benefit of vulnerable populations in developing countries. It works in partnership with local partners to reinforce health human resources, especially through training. It has been working to address the lack of qualified medical staff in rural populations, particularly among children and the disabled, by supporting new young doctors and improving health care services in existing structures.
