Union of Women Associations of Heraklion Prefecture

The grant partially supports the operation of the association's Counselling Structure for Women. The organization aims at implementing organized efforts to protect the rights of Women and supporting women victims of violence. They operate a help line, a hostel for abused women, the Counselling Structure for abused women, they organize targeted educational seminars and they promote the adoptions of children.
