Research and experience in medical institutions have shown that a friendly environment has an beneficial impact on patients. Reassuring surroundings improve staff working conditions and can positively affect patient outcomes and reduce stress.

Founded in April 2008, the Anouk Foundation creates reassuring environments for adults and children in medical and other specialized institutions by decorating the walls with soothing and amusing scenes. Anouk Foundation artists work in collaboration with the institutions’ professional staff to address the needs of each room that will be painted. The Foundation also organizes therapeutic painting sessions for patients.
