American Cancer Society

Emergency relief
This grant supports the American Cancer Society, which will repurpose its Hope Lodges, ordinarily housing people traveling from afar to seek cancer treatment, to offer respite to healthcare workers on the front line across the country.

Established in 1913, The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. The Society continuously works to help people learn how to live healthier lives and avoid cancer, get screening to detect cancer early, and obtain information and resources if they are diagnosed with cancer.

This grant is part of SNF’s global relief initiative aiming to help alleviate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
