The grant supports the expansion of services in Brooklyn and Queens, allowing more affected individuals and their families to access care in their local community. 
The Alzheimer’s Association, New York City Chapter offers a broad range of free services for persons with Alzheimer’s and related dementias, as well as their family and professional caregivers. Services include a 24-hour Helpline, which provides information, support, and translation services; care consultation services; educational programs on topics such as home care, patient management, and caregiver well-being; and training programs for professionals.
