Alkioni Aegean Wildlife Hospital

The grant supports general operating expenses for the Wildlife Hospital on Paros, which offers long-term care and shelter to injured wildlife from across Greece.  

The Alkioni Wildlife Hospital treats injured wildlife and releases the animals into their natural habitats. The organization has organized 30 first-aid shelters around Greece and operates the main animal hospital on Paros Island. Apart from the doctors and other scientific personnel, the hospital is supported by a significant number of volunteers.
