Educational project in Burkina Faso

For an educational project to improve enrollment in primary schools in the provinces of Sanguié, Gnagna and Kadiogo in Burkina Faso. The project encompasses capacity building in the targeted communities and providing technical and material support.  The educational component of the project includes teacher training regarding water and sanitation issues to improve hygiene and raise awareness of ways to combat malaria, meningitis and HIV/AIDS.

Active in 21 countries, Aide et Action promotes the development of education in underserved communities around the world. To pursue its mission of improving access to quality education, Aide et Action partners with local communities in their own development projects and often relies on local teams and partners. The organization focuses on early childhood education, education of girls and excluded children, education to teach citizenship, life skills, and health awareness, and education in migration and emergency situations.
