The project concerns the construction of a 3-unit school block, designed to serve 4-6 grade students, in Kyekyewere, a village in the Greater Accra region of Ghana. Due to insufficient school building capacity, approximately 100 children have their lessons outdoors; this significantly impairs the quality of their education and leaves the children exposed to a series of dangers. The project will be implemented through an onsite mission of 60 Greek child sponsors/volunteers.

The mission of ActionAid is to alleviate poverty and its consequences in developing countries by working closely with local communities to identify areas requiring assistance.
