For support to provide access to safe drinking water to 75,000 Malagasy villagers through sustaining 18 new water production stations supported by a self-financed local technical platform. A tailor-made training program will be offered to operators for the running water stations, aimed at developing their entrepreneurial skills and approach. In addition, safe drinking water will be supplied to primary schools of the 18 target communes.
1001 fontaines pour demain is a French association of general interest, which was set up in 2004. Their activities are based on the implementation of local drinking water production facilities in purifying water from rivers, ponds, and wells through the use of solar-powered ultraviolet technologies.
