The State University of New York College of Optometry yesterday officially dedicated the Barbara Saltzman Center for Pediatric Eye Care, a new facility that opened in April 2020 to enhance the care available to children in New York.
The dedication ceremony was delayed by the pandemic.
The Center has consolidated and expanded the pediatric optometry services offered by the SUNY College of Optometry in an environment specially designed to be comfortable and welcoming to children and families.
The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) provided support for construction, equipment, and for the College’s broader efforts to provide a child-oriented care experience.
