“Trophy Challenge” Competition, part of the program New Agriculture for a New Generation

Jul 03, 2019
A Press Conference of the “Trophy Challenge” competition took place on Wednesday, June 3rd. The competition is implemented as part of the program New Agriculture for a New Generation, established through the founding support of the SNF.

The goal of the “Trophy Challenge” is to highlight and reward innovative ideas in the agri-food sector, to create new opportunities and fields of cooperation, and to provide access to networking and financing opportunities.

The 50 teams that have submitted proposals, will participate in a bootcamp, where they will receive business support from mentors. The ten teams qualified by the first phase will then live pitch their ideas and be evaluated during the finals. In the end four winners will receive trophies, two from each broader theme: primary agricultural production (Agri-tech) and food technology (Food-tech).

The finals will take place in Thursday, July 11th.
