Athens Digital Lab Wins “Best Innovative Action of the Year” Award at 2018 Info-Com World Conference

Athens Digital Lab (ADL), one of the pioneering urban projects that the municipality of Athens included in the proposal for the prestigious ‘’2018 European Capital of Innovation’’ award, received the “Best Innovative Action of the Year” award at this year’s Info-Com World Conference which was held on Wednesday November 21st, 2018.
ADL is a unique smart city research and development laboratory, supporting innovative solutions that aim to improve the quality of life of Athens’ residents and visitors. ADL was created in October 2017, with an exclusive grant by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), by Athens Partnership with the cooperation of COSMOTE and Nokia. Following the success of its first round and its first year of operations, ADL has recently launched the second edition of its competition calling for smart city digital ideas.
