30 NOVEMBER 2017 / The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Annual Lecture at Yale University with the Hon. Michael S. Dukakis

On Thursday, November 30th, 2017, Yale University hosted the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Annual Lecture on its campus in Connecticut. This year’s lecturer was The Honorable Michael S. Dukakis, Former Governor of Massachusetts, discussing “Bipartisanship in Today’s Political Climate”.

Michael S. Dukakis is Distinguished Professor of Political Science at Northeastern University, and a visiting professor at the Luskin School of Public Affairs at UCLA. He was the three-term governor of Massachusetts, and the 1988 Democratic nominee for President of the United States.

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Lecture in Hellenic Studies was established in 2004, and is exclusively supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF). Furthermore, the SNF has provided significant support for the Yale University School of Public Health, the Yale School of Art, whose Deanship has been named the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Dean of the Yale School of Art, and the Yale Center for Hellenic Studies, which has been named the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Center for Hellenic Studies in the MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies at Yale.
