On Tuesday, September 26th, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) hosted a discussion entitled “North Korea: Next Steps”. The discussion is part of the CSIS Schieffer Series, which is running in its 8th consecutive year.

The discussion was held at the CSIS’s Headquarters in Washington, D.C. and was hosted by CBS News legend and CSIS Trustee, Bob Schieffer.

David Sanger, New York Times National Security Correspondent, Sue Mi Terry, former Korea Analyst for the CIA and former Korea Director of the National Security Council, and Michael Green, senior Vice President for Asia and Japan Chair of CSIS, participated in the panel discussion.

The Schieffer Series, which features thoughtful panel discussions with senior officials, lawmakers, journalists and policy experts to discuss global challenges and critical issues of national security and foreign policy, is produced by CSIS in partnership with the Bob Schieffer College of Communication at Texas Christian University.

The Series is exclusively supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).

The CSIS was established in Washington, D.C. more than 50 years ago as a bipartisan, nonprofit policy research organization dedicated to providing strategic insights and policy solutions to help decision makers chart a course toward a better world. The SNF has collaborated with CSIS on various projects since 1998, including discussions and concept papers, among others.
