The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Conference on Collaboration

May 04, 2005
The Stavros Niarchos Foundation hosted a working forum in the New York Public Library in New York City on May 4-5, 2005. The purpose of the meeting, which brought together over 100 leaders from grantee and other nonprofit institutions from around the world, was to explore how to better foster collaborations within the program and geographic areas of particular interest to the Foundation.
Using their personal experience as a guide, presenters and participants identified and analyzed key practices that increase and maintain effective collaborations among nonprofit organizations and between donors and grantee organizations.
